2017-18 Walk-A-Thon

What is it?

The Walk-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year, in which our students and their families raise pledges toward the students' participation in our Walk-A-Thon activity.

When is it?

This year's event will take place on October 5 & 6, 2017.

Where is it?

The Walk-A-Thon activities always take place on the campus of each respective student - Broadmoor Elementary and Rockville Elementary.

Where does the money go?

100% of all proceeds from the Walk-A-Thon go toward the PTO's Student Activity Fund, which provides per-student stipends for field trips and other activities (including Body Venture for the 2016-17 school year). In keeping with this year's theme, the Student Activity Fund will also be making a contribution to organizations supporting hurricane recovery efforts.

What's this year's theme?

The theme for the 2017-18 Walk-A-Thon is TEAMWORK. Students are encouraged to wear the attire of their favorite team or any teams they've been a part of (sports or non-sports). Also, we will be showing our spirit of teamwork by donating a portion of the proceeds to hurricane recovery efforts.
